The Cradoc Golf Club Men’s seniors group recently held their annual Help for Heroes competition, raising £300 for the charity.

This year’s trophy was claimed by Peter Gethin, a former veteran himself, adding a personal connection to the event’s cause.

The men’s seniors meet regularly on Tuesday and Friday mornings for friendly competitions at Cradoc Golf Club.

During the summer, the group has a packed schedule of fixtures with golf clubs across Wales.

Known for their fun and welcoming atmosphere, the group offers more than just golf - it’s a chance to stay active, make friends, and enjoy a variety of social benefits.

New members are always welcome. Those interested in joining can contact the club or Pro Shop, who will put you in contact with the Seniors Captain or Vice Captain for and friendly chat and more information.

Cradoc Golf Club also offers a range of events beyond golf, including tribute nights and excellent dining options.

One upcoming highlight is the Christmas Quiz, scheduled for Friday, December 13, at 7:30 pm. Guests can enjoy a festive burger during the half-time break. To book a table, ensure your reservation is made by December 6.
