A busy period for Brecon Mountain Rescue Team continued over the past week with multiple callouts.
The team of volunteers were called to Brecon Town centre on Tuesday, April 1, to a casualty who had injured themselves along the river bank.
As the team were arriving on scene, the ambulance service had managed to evacuate the casualty.
On Thursday, April 3, the team were called out assist a casualty in the Elan Valley area who was unwell. Due to the remoteness of the call, rescue 187 assisted evacuating the casualty to a landing zone and the casualty was transferred to Welsh Ambulance Service.
The following day on Friday, April 4, the team were called to a farm in the Aberystwyth area to assist ambulance service with extracting a casualty.
A final callout for the week on Sunday, April 6, saw the team called out to an injured motorcyclist in the Elan valley area but they were stood down en route.
A spokesperson for the team said:”We wish all the casualties a speedy recovery! All this and the running of the Black Dragon event on April 5!”
