Knighton Town were on cloud nine after recording a twelfth successive victory in the MMP with Norman Lloyd Central Wales League (South).
They enjoyed a 9-0 victory over Aberystwyth University under the Bryn-y-Castell floodlights.
The hosts came into the match on the back of a 2-0 win at Bow Street Reserves, just over 48 hours earlier, courtesy of second-half strikes from former Aberystwyth Town and Newtown forward Luke Boundford and Taylor Wozencraft.
The Radnor Robins opened the scoring against the visiting students as early as the third minute when defender Jack Brindley forced the ball home from a third minute corner.
Ryan Jones doubled the lead three minutes later after netting from close-range when visiting custodian Cameron Amis dropped a hanging cross delivered from out on the right flank.
The third goal, which arrived in the 18th minute, was a virtual repeat of the second with Jack Hoyle on hand this time to net from close-range.
Declan Beddoes scored the goal of the evening when he volleyed home Wozencraft's 25th-minute cross from the right edge of the penalty area and gave Amis no chance to stop.
Knighton Town had to wait until the hour mark to add to their tally when Wozencraft beat Amis with a low 25-yard strike after cutting inside off the right flank before Jack Bright converted Callum Stead's low 71st minute cross to the far post from close-range to make it six.
Substitute Henry Shaw curled home a seventh goal from just inside the penalty area four minutes later before Alfie Stokes missed his opportunity to make it eight when his penalty came back off an upright.
There was still time for the Radnor Robins to add two more goals before the final whistle.
Wozencraft netted his second of the evening in the 82nd minute after Shaw turned provider on this occasion before the former Radnor Valley striker completed his hat-trick in stoppage-time courtesy of a low drive past Amis from just inside the penalty area.
Knighton Town went on to book their place in the last-16 stage of the prestigious Emrys Morgan Cup following a narrow 1-0 victory over Costcutter Ceredigion League First Division basement club New Quay.
Declan Beddoes' 35th minute penalty proved sufficient for the Radnor Robins to progress through their third round tie on Saturday afternoon at Bryn-y-Castell.
