Builth Wells 1 - Radnor Valley 1
(Radnor win 5-3 on penalties)
Radnor Valley lifted the Aspidistra Radnorshire Cup for the second time in three seasons with a penalty shoot-out victory over Ardal League North East rivals, Builth Wells, at Knighton Town’s Bryn-y-Castell.
The Goats avenged defeat to Builth in last season’s final after the sides were locked together at 1-1 after 90 minutes.

Radnor made the better start with Lewis Morris hitting the bar from 20 yards before Elliot Morris headed over. Joe Wozencraft went close for Builth from distance with Otto Jones out of position and it was Builth who made the breakthrough on 34 minutes when Bradley Rollinson won a corner on the left. Rhys Thomas swung the ball into the box and midfielder Danny Ives rose the highest to head Builth in front.
In the second half, Radnor’s Thomas Edwards, restricted to a place on the bench due to a back problem, had a shot blocked. There were no real chances at either end with both sides struggling in the final third of the pitch and that one goal looked as if it might prove enough. But you can never write Radnor off and three minutes into stoppage time they levelled the tie to force a penalty shoot-out. Builth failed to clear a Joey Price corner and the ball fell kindly to Charlie Beaumont who took one touch and rifled it into the bottom corner.
Radnor went first in the shoot-out and scored five excellent penalties from Joey Price. Thomas Edwards, Lewis Morris, Jack Clarke and Ieuan Price. Builth netted through Adam Farmer, Alex Hicks and keeper, Kham Steventon but their third spot-kick, taken by Joe Wozencraft, was tipped onto the bar by Otto Jones and that was enough for Radnor to get their hands on the silverware.
